I was 16 when I first picked up a camera. Something clicked. No pun intended, but I'll take it.
Weddings became the focus because nothing else works like them. The chaos, the colour, the tears, the laughter that arrives out of nowhere. All of it is real and none of it repeats. My job is to make sure none of it gets lost.
Statua is a Bengaluru studio, and we shoot across India. We don't do heavily posed setups or sell you the word "perfect". What we do is pay attention. The small things. A glance between your parents. The way someone fixes your dupatta without you noticing. The quiet second right before you walk out.
That means we work as a two-person team at minimum, so one of us is always watching the room while the other is watching you. It means we keep our year deliberately small, because a wedding you're genuinely present at is a wedding you shoot better. And it means the films and frames you get back are the day as it felt, not the day as it was supposed to look.

Also, we're useful to have around. Need a tissue? We've got plenty. They're technically for the lenses, but they're yours if you need them.
